On Friday April 7th 2017, the Dutch Community for Sports Science organises the second edition of the Science and Engineering Conference on Sports Innovation (SECSI). This conference aims to stimulate sports research and innovation by exchanging knowledge on sports science. Furthermore, its goal is to strengthen the partnerships between traditional universities, universities of applied sciences and other research institutions.

During this one-day conference, PhD candidates, postdoctorals and scientific staff members from all fields of sports science can present their research. Considering that the goal of the conference is to offer an overview of Dutch sports science and to initiate an in-depth interaction between all fields, it is permitted to submit earlier work that has already been presented at other conferences.

The event will take place at the TU Delft and will last from 9 AM to 6 PM. You are kindly invited to register by April 3th at the latestAbstracts can be handed in until the 20th of February using this online formPlease make sure to read the abstract template carefully (click here).

SECSI is initiated by AISS (Amsterdam Institute of Sport Science) and TU Delft Sports Engineering Institute. The conference is held annually. Every year another university and university of applied sciences host the conference. This year TU Delft Sports Engineering Institute and The Hague University of Applied Sciences organize the conference.
