About This Project

European Regional development fund for innovations in sailing

The ERDF aims to strengthen economic and social cohesion in the European Union by correcting imbalances between its regions. The ERDF focuses its investments on several key priority areas. ERDF action is designed to reduce economic, environmental and social problems in urban areas, with a special focus on sustainable urban development. One of the projects within this program is a stimulation fund for SME’s in the sailing industry. This project contributes to the economic growth of the companies and industries in the area of The Hague-Scheveningen. Entrepreneurs with innovative ideas for technical developments in the sailing industry can apply for a grant of 20.000 euro. The collaboration in the so called ‘golden triangle’ of the industry, the sport and the knowledge institutes is preferred.  TU Delft is lead partner in this project and is involved in project management for all applicants.
